On behalf of the Board of Management, Bruce McDonald, Executive Vice President Minerals Division for ALS Laboratory Group (the company), is pleased to announce the opening of its new laboratory and administration offices in North Vancouver, BC.
The Minerals Division of ALS Laboratory Group provides analysis of rock and soil samples in support of mineral exploration in BC and around the world. North Vancouver has been the headquarters of this activity since 1967. Flexing with the ups and downs of the mining and exploration industry, the company has continued to grow. It has led the industry in establishment of leading-edge technologies and global best practices to provide clients with reliable results, a wide selection of elements and analytical methods, low detection limits, and fast turnaround time just about anywhere in the world that geologists are searching for new resources.
The company continues to expand and improve its service offering through this new, custom-built, geochemical analysis, assay, and mineralogy laboratory located at 2103 Dollarton Hwy. This laboratory is the largest and most advanced of its kind in the world and represents a significant, long-term, investment in the District of North Vancouver and British Columbia’s mineral exploration industry.
