:: Aspermont Sponsors the CEEC
Aspermont is pleased to announce that it will sponsor the Coalition for Eco-Efficient Comminution (CEEC) in 2014. The CEEC is a not-for-profit company whose mission is to accelerate knowledge and technology transfer in the field of comminution (crushing and grinding). The CEEC aims to raise awareness of beneficial alternative mine to mill mineral processing strategies with the objective of achieving lower processing costs per tonne, improved earnings and greater efficiencies in the mining sector.
The CEEC is led by its board of directors which includes: Joe Pease of XT; Maryse Belanger of Goldcorp; Tim Napier-Munn of JKTech; Zeljka Pokrajcic of WorleyParsons; Mike Battersby of Maelgwyn Mineral Services; Mary Stewart of Energetics and Ivan Mullany of Barrick Gold.
Aspermont is the leading print and internet publisher and conference provider for the resource and construction sectors globally. It publishes 15 key print magazines, including Mining Journal, Mining Magazine, Australia's Mining Monthly, Resource Stocks and Mining People and the Environment, and has offices on five continents.
The CEEC regularly contributes expert editorial to Aspermontís mining-related publications, and has participated in a number of its Mines and Money series events. CEEC was also the recipient of the 2013 Mining Magazine Editorís Award for its dedication to advancing the state-of-play within the mining industry.
