:: JKTech Wins Deloitte Technology Fast 50 Award

Recent growth, both within the Australian and International mining and mineral processing industries, has seen JKTech win one of the 2007 Deloitte Technology Fast 50 Awards, achieving significant revenue growth over the last three years. The Deloitte Technology Fast 50 ranks the 50 fastest growing technology companies in Australia, public or private, based on percentage revenue growth over three years (2005-2007).

JKTech is an innovative export driven company supplying a range of technology products to the local and international minerals market. JKTech Managing Director, Dr Geoff Gault said, “Our significant growth is a result of the quality of the research outcomes from the Julius Kruttschnitt Mineral Research Centre (JKMRC), the strong industry reputation of JKTech’s personnel, the value proposition offered by our technology products and services as well as our focussed business strategy.

“Based on the current boom in the mining industry and the pipeline of new innovative technologies at the JK Centre, we expect to achieve continued growth over the next 12 months and beyond." Deloitte Technology, Media and Telecommunications partner Julia Bickerstaff said the growth of JKTech has been astounding. “Managing growth is challenging for many organisations, but JKTech has achieved exceptional growth."

One of only six non-IT or communications based companies, JKTech ranked along with a catalogue of distinguished internet companies; and young communications/networking companies, some boasting growth rates in the thousands. The company ranked 1st on the list was Mobile Data Group Pty Ltd, with an impressive 10,237% growth.

JKTech’s local success has propelled the company into the Deloitte Technology Fast 500 Asia Pacific - operating on the same premise as the Fast 50, the Fast 500 program recognises technology companies based in Australia, China, Hong Kong SAR, India, Indonesia, Japan, Macau SAR, Malaysia, Philippines, New Zealand, Singapore, South Korea, Taiwan, Thailand and Vietnam.
