Coeur Mining, Inc. (NYSE: CDE) is the largest U.S. based primary silver producer and a significant gold producer. The Company has five precious metals mines in the Americas employing nearly 2000 people. Coeur Wharf, a subsidiary of Coeur Mining, Inc. is recruiting a Process Supervisor for our Wharf Mine near Lead, South Dakota. Reporting to the Process Manager, the Process Supervisor will be responsible for the performance of the following duties in a safe and productive manner:

Major responsibilities will include:

  • Execute pad and plant plans and schedules;
  • Report production variances to management when there are production shortfalls, turndowns or extended periods of downtime per guidelines
  • Continually challenge the current state of operations for improvements in rate, recovery, grades and product quality
  • Execute the plant and ponds preventative and predictive maintenance plans
  • Guide and developing process lead men to using advanced troubleshooting and critical thinking skills
  • Accurately complete weekly production reports
  • Propose and execute improvement suggestions where a need or benefit to the process, personnel or production is seen.
  • Develop and execute performance goals and development plans for each direct report in line with the direction and values of Coeur Wharf
  • Ensure the weekly job plan is executed as laid out by the Process General Foreman
  • Ensure that each employee and/or contractor maintains a safe working environment to carry out their assigned tasks
  • Ensure safe, efficient and environmentally sound performance of all activities assigned
  • Manage and coordinate the operation of the pads and plant to meet and exceed budgeted throughput, grades, recoveries and product quality
  • Maintain CN Code requirements.
  • Promote a culture of excellence with respect to environmental stewardship above and beyond basic regulations so as to be consistent with company sustainability policies and procedures;
  • Leading and report on incident investigations;
  • Ensure compliance with company environmental policies and procedures and relevant regulations
