Location: QLD, Australia

A talented Processing Manager with strong management skills is needed for a QLD Copper mine.

Your new company

Capricorn Copper is an operator of a world class QLD underground metalliferous asset which is now transitioning from care and maintenance to full production. Currently they require a Production Superintendent who shares their cores values of clear vision, empowerment, ownership, responsibility and respect to join their organisation.

Your new role

Reporting into the General Manager of Operations your primary responsibility will be the optimisation of the concentrator operation including crushing, grinding, flotation, tailings filtration and concentrate production. In this critical leadership position you will aim to empower the processing team by promoting the company’s core values. Alongside the day to day management you will also lead the execution of refurbishment and plant modification projects to ensure timelines and budget are met in the plants commissioning.

What you'll need to succeed

It is essential that you are degree qualified in Metallurgy or Chemical Engineering with extensive experience in metalliferous flotation extraction. A demonstrated understanding of metallurgical flotation process optimisation using proven analytical abilities and proven problem solving skills will be required. It will be highly advantageous if you have commissioning experience.
