Location: Department of Mining Engineering, West Virginia University, USA

The Department of Mining Engineering at West Virginia University invites applications for a tenure-track position at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor depending upon qualifications. Candidates must demonstrate expertise in mineral processing and extractive metallurgy with a specific focus on rare earth minerals/elements, and they must have research specialty in one or more of the following areas: extraction and recovery of critical minerals/elements, materials characterization, particle comminution, physical and chemical separations, pyrometallurgy, hydrometallurgy, waste materials processing, immobilization, and recycling, process modeling, control, and optimization.
