:: Anvil Begins Commissioning at Dikulushi

Anvil Mining has started commissioning Stage 1 of its Dikulushi copper-silver project in the Democratic Republic of Congo. Stage 1 consists of open pit mining and heavy media separation to produce 40 kt/y of high-grade concentrates, which will be further processed at smelters in South Africa. The first concentrates are expected to be shipped from the site in early October. Dikulushi, which has a total mineral resource of 1.94 Mt at an average grade of 8.58% copper and 266 g/t silver, is expected to produce 14 kt copper and 1.1 million ounces of silver per year.
