:: Sedgman Awarded Second Contract with Twin Pines Minerals
Sedgman has been awarded a second contract worth $12.4m as Principal Contractor for a Relocatable Mineral Separation Plant (MSP) at Twin Pines Minerals LLC’s (TPM) New Jersey facility in the United States of America.
This award follows on from the earlier $18.5m contract award announced on 4 March 2015 for the design and supply of a Wet Concentrator Plant to TPM. Sedgman’s scope of work includes engineering design, procurement, fabrication and delivery of the MSP to TPM’s site.
When complete the MSP facility will process heavy mineral concentrate produced by the Wet Concentrator Plant. The layout of the MSP will have provisions of further expanding the plant capacity beyond its nominal design capacity of 15 tonnes per hour.
Sedgman Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director Peter Watson said he was extremely pleased to be able to announce this new contract with TPM.
“This latest contract is another great example of our Global Minerals strategy in action and clearly demonstrates how we build enduring relationships by providing value and technical excellence for our clients.
“We are honoured to have been chosen by TPM for this additional plant and we look forward to working with them on other opportunities in the future.”
Detailed design has commenced on the project with completion scheduled for May 2016.
