:: New President & CEO Shuttleworth Takes The Helm

Tim Shuttleworth, a nine year employee of Eriez Magnetics, has succeeded Chet Giermak as President and CEO. During his tenure at Eriez, Shuttleworth has served as Managing Director - International and then Vice President - International Operations, negotiating the founding of Eriez-India and then Eriez-China. Most recently, under his stewardship, the Export Division at Eriez-USA set a remarkable record for export orders.

Shuttleworth, an Indiana native, graduated from Indiana University and then went on to earn an MBA at Notre Dame. He brings with him years of international business experience, having worked in the family business at Shuttleworth Europa NV in Gent, Belgium and Shuttleworth Ireland Ltd. In Athy, Ireland. He later returned to a sales position in the home office in Huntington, Indiana. Other career steps included sales positions with Litton Industries and Goldco Industries.

Shuttleworth will oversee Eriez’ interests at all manufacturing facilities including those in Australia, Canada, Chile, China, India, Japan, Mexico, South Africa, United Kingdom, as well as the headquarters plant in Erie, Pennsylvania. According to Shuttleworth, "Eriez’ talents and expertise uniquely position the company to recognize the best solutions for a widely varied range of application problems. With our plants strategically located on five continents we’re able to provide local or close-by support before and after the sale, as well as dramatically reducing shipping costs. With our global network of factory trained representatives, we’re staffed to assist with projects of all sizes, from huge systems to the very smallest magnetic separator or vibratory feeder."

For more than six decades, Eriez, recognized as world authority in advanced technology for magnetic, vibratory and metal detection applications has met the needs of myriad processing industries. The company serves more than 80 major industries ranging from food to metalworking, chemical, plastics, recycling, mining and textiles, to name only a few.
