Magris Talc Canada is a talc mining operation based in Timmins, Ontario. It consists of a mine and concentrator located roughly 75 km west of town and a micronizing plant located in Timmins proper. Talc carbonate ore is mined and purified to a high-grade talc concentrate at the mine site, after which it is dry ground to a fine powder for sale, mainly to manufacturers of automotive polymers and catalysts.

The company is seeking a Process Engineer or Metallurgist on a permanent basis for our Penhorwood Mill location, which requires daily travel from Timmins to the Concentrator.
