The Metallurgist is responsible for the efficient operation of the process plants on the sampling and mining vessels, and ensuring procedures conform with Group standards and policies. They are responsible for giving the Executive assurance that the sampling and mining process plants are optimised and ensures quality control and improvements to plant design and equipment to maximise plant efficiencies. It is an office-based position with the METALLURGIST expected to spend 50% of their time at sea roving between the vessels.
